At the 1997 European Grand Prix, three drivers TIED for for P1 during Qualifying. Jacques Villeneuve, Michael Schumacher, and Heinz-Harald Frentzen all lapped the circuit in exactly 1m 21.072s. With 0.000s covering the top three, the order was set by who registered their lap first – meaning Villeneuve ended up on pole.
