I’m getting really tired of all this driver movement, contract negotiation, alpha/beta driver discussion. This week you have Danny Ric saying he wouldn’t join Ferrari just to be Vettel’s “bridesmaid.”
Everyone wants to be “the top dog”. How about this, if you want to be #1 then go out there and race like it. I feel like there is more time spent talking about being a top driver and less time actually proving it on the track.
I remember a time when drivers just buckled up and put it all out there on the track.
If you are Danny Ric and you are sitting in a Ferrari then go out and beat Seb head to head. The Mercs did this for the past 3 years. If you don’t want to be the bridesmaid, then throw on your wedding dress, Danny. It’s your day.
