Welcome to the rawest corner of the internet. No snowflakes need apply here. If you think you may be triggered, you will be triggered. You have been warned.
My editors begged me, don’t go at the readers too hard. We have sponsors to please. I will be honest, in one ear and out the other. That is the truth. But we owe our readers an honest reporting of the F1 world, or whatever else we care to talk about this week.
With that in mind, I want to go after the blatant disrespect I witnessed this past weekend. Week in and week out, the staff here at The Newsletter sit down on Monday night to pour our hearts out talking about F1. We don’t get paid and we don’t get much recognition. We do it for the love of the game. But with so many fans in the same place last weekend at the wedding of one of our writers, not a single person came over to the main table to give a little head nod, or a simple “Hey, I like what you boys are doing”.
Would that be so hard? We even mentioned the wedding in our latest pod. How we would see all of our loyal listeners. But everyone decided to talk to the bride and groom, instead of a quick thank you for the free content.
EDITORS NOTE: We apologize for the tone of this column. Due to a scheduling conflict, the latest podcast was published a week later than anticipated. No worries about the snub at last weekend’s wedding, that is our bad.
